Bristly Rose or Swamp Rose
Here are pictures of bristly or swamp roses that I got from David Smith at his Save a Native Plant nursery in Fredericton, NB. The first one I got last year and it survived the winter. The others I got this weekend just past. It is a bad time to transplant just now with all this heat we have been having but I am giving them lots of water and hoping for the best. The hostas are not native plants.
