Spirea
We have a baby oak tree growing from an acorn we harvested from my daughter Michelle’s and her husband Bronson’s property in Fredericton, NB. Also, I don’t think they are native plants, but we have two spirea bushes growing on our property. Again, it was just a matter of not cutting it, and clearing away the other things that were growing near it. There is one large one on the side toward the beach and one on the rock out front. I’m always amazed that the one on the rock survives getting buried by snow and whatever the plow pushes onto it through the winter, but it comes back each spring.
