The Beginning
The first thing we did last winter was to make a table with wood that was only taking up space in our storage area. With the Covid 19 scare, we didn’t want to go to the store for lumber just for a project like this. We also didn’t want to go get planters, so we used orange juice boxes that we had been saving to redeem for deposit. The early blue violet never sprouted. Not shown here is bunchberry that also never sprouted. But that was ok as we had tons of bunchberry that grew wild all over our lot. The alfalfa grew so well it fell over.
